There must be a good reason why we were given two ears and only one mouth. We could be better at communication if only we made more effort to listen than speak all the time. Even practice for group discussions is generally understood as learning to speak well. Most students assess their performance in a mock GD based on how long they could speak and not how patiently they listened to others. But that may not be so wise after all.

Now the best way to really master a language, which surely involves developing a rich and varied vocabulary in it, is to read the wonderful literature available in that language. However, this is a process that takes years and cannot be compressed into months.
