In today’s competitive world, a large number of engineering graduates have come to terms with the fact that technical knowledge alone will not help them climb the corporate ladder. Rather they need to reinvent themselves and acquire new skills to further their careers at a later stage. By combining business and management experience with educational and personal development, the MBA degree can open up new opportunities and pave the way for accelerated promotion. | Why do an MBA after BCom/CA? |

B.Com is a degree that has been very popular for a long time coming. Before the pre MBA era most students preferred to have a commerce graduation degree to help them focus on finance related jobs. It was the next best to engineering and medicine. A B.Com degree also helped one to ace the CA or the ICWA exams and one would often see a mad scramble for admissions. Over a period of time with the advent of the management degree, B.Com has come to be categorised as an entry level qualification for the job market in India. Chartered Accountancy (CA), Certified Financial Analyst (CFA), Cost Accountancy (from ICWA), etc. were identified as lucrative careers in finance and till date continue to hold sway.
