Tell our readers a bit about yourself and how your decision to go for a management degree came about.
I completed a Master’s degree in Sport and Exercise Science from Brighton University, after which I returned to India and worked with an NGO called the Indian Institute of Environmental Medicine. The work focused on rehabilitation of people with chronic lung disease such as tuberculosis. During my three and a half year work tenure, I developed an interest in working towards improving healthcare access and delivery to people. I figured health care management might have some answers for this common global problem. This prompted me to aim for a degree in management.

I was always interested in managerial jobs. I wanted to explore the real world before venturing out in the professional management field. So before joining an MBA programme, I made sure that I had gained some work experience.
