Project Management Certification offered at IIT D

The Indian Institute of Technology Delhi (IIT D) has announced a two-month certificate programme in Project Management meant for graduates and working professionals. The programme has been designed to instruct students to develop an understanding of tools and techniques for effective management of resources and cost in projects. The other highlight of the programme is training in the aspects of project leadership and risk management.

The pedagogy for the programme will include lectures on working problems, Live case study and corporate examples, general discussions and assignments. On successful completion of the course, students will be awarded a certificate from IIT D.

Working executives with academic background in engineering, computers, telecommunication & management are eligible for the programmes. Undergraduates in the final year of engineering, architecture, BCA, BBA, MCA, MBA, B.Sc., M.Sc and Diploma holders with 2 years of work experience in relevant areas are also eligible for the programme. The selection would be on the basis of academic records and experience. The programme fee is Rs 40,000/- which can be paid in installments.

The last date for submission of application forms at the IIT Delhi office is April 5th 2009. The orientation for the class would also be on the 5th of April 2009.
