MS in Consultancy Management

The Birla Institute of Technology & Science(BITS), Pilani in collaboration with the Consultancy Development Center (an initiative of the DSIR, Ministry of Science and Technology, Govt. of India) is offering an MS in Consultancy Management. This programme aims to provide professionals with exposure to consulting processes, practices and tools and also to impart basic consultancy, project management and comprehensive problem solving skills to professionals and working executives.

The duration of the programme is two years spread across four semesters. This is an on line distance learning initiative where the pedagogies used to deliver the programme are: Self Study, Contact Classes, E-Coaching, E-Learning, Live Project etc.

The participants who wish to pursue this programme need to have either an integrated First Degree of BITS or its equivalent (B.E / B.Tech., M.Sc., M.B.A., M.C.A.) or a post graduate degree or equivalent with an aptitude for quantitative methods. Applicants also need to have a minimum one year of post qualification experience. The application is to be forwarded by the employer and in case of self employed and proprietary concerns, the applicant should provide an undertaking to this effect..

All successful students will be awarded the M. S. (Consultancy Management) degree by BITS, Pilani.

The admission fee for the programme is Rs.10,000 and the fee for each semester is Rs. 25,000.
The last date to apply for this programme is June 3, 2009 and the course will commence from 4th July 2009.
