New Courses on Offer from IIM-C

The Indian Institute of Management Calcutta has introduced two new courses for working professionals - the "Executive Programme in Business Analytics"(EPBA) and "Executive Programme in International Business" (EPIB).

The EPBA programme is designed to expose participants to state-of-the-art tools and techniques of analytics. The programme coverage would include discussion on topics such as Data Mining, Artificial Intelligence, Soft Computing, Data Envelopment Analysis, Design of Experiments, Survey Sampling, Statistical Inference, Investment Management, Financial Modeling for Risk management, Advanced marketing Research etc.

This classroom component of the programme consists of 14 modules to be taken by faculty from IIMC. The IOL component consists of 208 instructional hours through the Interactive Onsite Learning Mode. The sessions will be delivered on HughesNet Global Education interactive learning platform at any of the 48 HughesNet classrooms in 32 cities across the country.

Engineers, Post Graduates & Graduates with minimum 50% marks and 2 years of work experience will be eligible to apply for the programme. The total fees for the course is Rs. 205,000.

The EPIB has been specially designed to help students acquire knowledge and skills that support work in international companies and environment. The program covers aspects related to International Business Environment, Challenges in International Marketing & Sales, International Operations, International Logistics and Supply Chain etc.

Spread over 1 year, the IOL component of the EPIB consists of 210 instructional hours through the Interactive Onsite Learning Mode. There is also an in-campus component to be held either at the beginning, during or end of the 1 year program. This is a crucial component covering 5 days (40 hrs), which provides the participants an orientation towards case based learning. It is compulsory for all participants. For international students, the personal contact program will take place in Dubai.

The total fee for the course is Rs. 201,000. Graduates with at least 3 years of experience and a minimum of 50% marks in graduation can apply.
