International News: IDP partners with US institutions to recruit students

IDP Education, the largest student placement company has partnered with 11 US institutions to place international students into these universities. US universities have seen a drop in their international student enrollments in the past few years and face stiff competition from countries like UK, Canada and Australia. The initiative to partner with IDP, by these 11 institutions stems from this fact. “I am excited to be part of such a bold initiative,” says Mark Shay, director of North America, IDP Education. “IDP is entering the American market at a critical time when American universities need foreign students like never before.” The 11 US partner institutions are: University of Mississippi, Lewis University, Mary Baldwin College, St. Michael's College, Dean College, Keck Graduate Institute, Saint Francis University, Chaminade University, Bellarmine University, Ashland University, and Fisher College.
