Indian Railway officers to get lessons from IIM C

The Indian Institute of Management, Calcutta(IIM-C) has signed a memorandum of understanding with the Indian Railway board to train its service officers for the next five years starting 2009. The new programme will help train Railway service officers and service probationary officers.

Keeping this in view IIM-C has launched a 12-week executive general management programme for 60 Indian Railway officers. As per the MoU  IIM-C will also conduct an executive general management programme for railway officers as a part of the regular 18-month training program for Indian Railway service probationer officers.
