IIM C and University of Melbourne sign an MOU.

A memorandum of understanding between the Indian Institute of Management Calcutta (IIM C) and the University of Melbourne, Australia was signed and made formal on September 14, 2009. IIM C partners with 43  institutes in all. The MOU will enable student exchanges between the two institutes and this would help provide better exposure to cross cultural business environments which are critical.

The MOU will also enable faculty exchanges and joint research ventures between the institutes.

These partner institutes  which are located in Europe, US and South East Asia participate in a programme called STEP initiated in 200o. Under this programme 54 students from these foreign international universities are currently spending a term at IIM C and 67 students from IIM C are studying in the partner institutes located around the world.
