University of Petroleum & Energy Studies (UPES) announces Management Entrance Test (MET)

The Management Entrance Test conducted by UPES for MBA programs like Oil & Gas Management, Power Management, Energy Trading, Infrastructure Management, Aviation Management, Port & Shipping Management, Information Systems Management, International Business and Logistics & Supply Chain Management will be held on the 20th of February 2010.

ELIGIBILITY

Minimum 50% marks at Higher & Senior Secondary level (10th & 12th).

AND

For MBA in Oil and Gas Management - Engineering Degree with relevant industry requirement is acceptable/ B.Sc. (PCM) with minimum 50% marks from a recognized University

For MBA in Energy Trading - Graduation with at least 50% marks from a recognized University in Commerce/Economics/Mathematics/ Statistics/CA/ICWA/ B.Tech. with relevant industry requirement is acceptable/ B.Sc.(PCM)

For MBA in Infrastructure Management - B.Tech./ BE (Civil/Electrical/ Mechanical/ EEE)/ B.Sc. (PCM) with minimum 50% marks from a recognized University

For MBA in International Business - Graduation with at least 50% marks from a recognized University

For MBA Information Systems Management - B.Tech/ BE (IT/ CSE/EEE)/ B.Sc. (IT/CSE)/ BCA with at least 50% marks from a recognized University

For MBA in Logistics & Supply Chain Management - Graduation with minimum 50% marks from a recognized University.

ADMISSION CRITERIA

Admissions will be based on the UPES Management Entrance Test (UPES-MET) plus a Group Discussion & Interview.

Students having minimum CAT Score of 80 percentile/ MAT 90 percentile will be exempted from UPES Management Entrance Test and will be called for Group Discussion & Interview only.
