Admissions to Fellow programme in management at IIM I

The Indian Institute of Management Indore has invited applications to its Fellow Programme in Management(FPM) in the following areas of specialization; communication, finance and accounting, financial economics, information systems, marketing management, operations management & quantitative techniques, organizational behavior & HRM, strategic management & entrepreneurship.

Candidates with a master's degree in any discipline with at least 55% marks and 50% marks in their graduation (10+2+3 pattern)/ CA,ICWA,CS with minimum 55% marks with two years post-qualification work experience/BE/B Tech degree(4 years degree) with at least 60% marks with minimum of two years post-qualification work experience are eligible to apply for the programme.

IIM I also encourages lecturers(full time faculty) from various business schools to apply since they would be granted an opportunity of pursuing a PhD for at least three years  as on 31st March 2010. The institute may also grant a waiver of the requirement of first year courses in case the student has already done an MBA/PGP/EPGP or equivalent programs from recognized universities or business schools.

The fellowship grant covers all academic and living expenses. In addition FPM participants get a monthly stipend of Rs 15,000/- in first and second years and Rs. 20,000/- in the last two years.

Candidates interested in applying have to attempt one of the following tests CAT/GMAT/GRE/GATE/UGC-JRF. Alternatively one can also appear for the Research Aptitude Test (RAT) at IIMI which would be held some time in February/March 2010.
