CAT results may get delayed

According to sources speaking to one of the leading national dailies, CAT results may get delayed. The results, which were scheduled to come on January 22, 2010 may now be pushed back to February 2010. However, no official intimation to the effect has been released on the CAT Website or through a formal Press Release.

The exam was conducted online for the first time this year but was marred by a series of software glitches. IIM was supposed to give fresh dates for those who could not appear for the test due to technical problems but has still not decided on the new dates.

The uncertainty has raised several questions in the minds of students who have spent an entire year preparing for the CAT.
