Diverse range of profiles were offered like Investment Banking, Private Equity and Venture Capital, Equity Research and Corporate Finance to some niche profiles such as Buy and Sell side Analyst, Fund Management and Tax consulting.
Prominent recruiters like Goldman Sachs, Deutsche Bank, HSBC-GR, Standard Chartered, Bank of America-Merrill Lynch, J P Morgan, Nomura, SBI Caps and few others offered challenging roles in I-banking. Some favored Indian names were Edelweiss, ICICI, Yes Bank, Axis Bank and HDFC. Apart from the BFSI sector, companies like Larsen & Turbo, Genpact and Suzlon Energy offered roles in Corporate and Project Finance. |
Sales & Marketing |
FMCG companies like Hindustan Unilever, Procter & Gamble, Colgate-Palmolive, ITC, Pepsi, Hindustan Coca Cola Beverages, Marico, Reckitt-Benckiser, Dabur and Britannia made multiple offers through PPOs and the final placements. This year also saw several offers made from companies across diverse sectors like Automobile, Telecom, Pharmaceutical, Textile and Manufacturing. Some of the notable partners were Tata Motors, Airtel, Vodafone, GSK, Pfizer and Raymond. |

Recruiters in Consulting domain were Boston Consulting Group, Ernst and Young, Deloitte, Price Waterhouse Coopers, Aon Hewitt, Cognizant Business Consulting, Wipro Consulting Services. This year saw many niche profiles and strategic consulting roles being offered to candidates including SCM consulting, consulting to mid-size corporates, Healthcare consulting, Retail consulting and Real estate consulting. |
Corporate Strategy and General Management |
Companies such as Reliance Industries, Mahindra & Mahindra, Anil Dhirubhai Ambani Group, Adani Group, Bharti Group, Manipal Group and L&T offered general management roles. EA to MD/CEO remained one of the most sought after profiles on campus giving students an opportunity to work closely with the CEO and then moving to the top echelons from thereon. |

Diverse range of profiles was offered in the operations domain across supply chain management, infrastructure development and management, logistics. IT and Human Resource |
Information Technology continued to grow steadily with participants taking up roles in Client Engagement, Project Management, Sales, Corporate Strategy and Business Development. Some of the leading IT recruiters were Microsoft, Hewlett-Packard, Cognizant, Infosys, HCL Technologies and Wipro.
Placements this year witnessed the revival of human resource domain with Aon Hewitt, Infosys amongst others making multiple offerings in the corporate HR domain. |
